Having climbed the incredibly steep banking next to Buxton Shed something I did only once! this is the result, a fine view of class 45/0 locomotive 45033 (D39) with one of the White trade marked Buxton class 108 dmus sticking it's nose out of the shed. 3rd October 1986. Andrew J Crowther.
Two Class 108 sets (a three-car and a two-car) arrives into Prestatyn on 2 July 1989. Leading is DMBS 51935 as part of set CH374. John Carter.
Stratford-upon-Avon used to see a lot of day excursion traffic. This time exposure shows Longsight allocated LO350 (presumably 51935/59388/51927) + LO349 standing in platform 2 awaiting departure time before returning to Blackpool on 3 February 1990. For those interested, the exposure on 100asa transparency film was 12 seconds at f8. I always took several exposures when shooting after dark to try and ensure that there would be at least one with the correct light and shadow balance. It's much easier (and cheaper) with digital hardware! Peter Tandy.

A three-car Class 108 DMU arriving into Stockport station on 27 February 1986. The three vehicles are noted as 53634 + 59387 + 51935, although the last could be a typo for 51934 which formed set BX491 with the other two at the time. Stuart Mackay Collection.
A line up of Buxton allocated Derby built class 108's at Buxton on the 20th April 1988, with the one on the left making a smokey departure from platform 2, the destination blind unusually showing Oxford Road, all services at this time apart - from an early morning sevice to Irlam - terminated at Manchester Piccadilly. On the right is set BX374 (presumably 51568 + 59183 + 51935) and in the middle BX373 (presumably 53932 visible), the set on the left carries no set number. Andrew J Crowther.
