Set: 35
Norwich MPD allocated Set No.35 led by Class 104 DTCL E56186 awaits it's next duty at the North end of Cambridge Station. At the next Platform is sister Set No.46 led by Class 104 DTCL E56188 who also calls Norwich MPD home. E56186 would be withdrawn in February 1984 being scrapped by Vic Berry in their Leicester Yard 2 years later, while E56188 was withdrawn in February 1982 and was disposed of by Mayer Newman at their local Snailwell Yard in November of that year. End of the line at Sheringham on the evening of 10th September 1978 with a BRCW dmu (set 85) on a Norwich service. Cars (more modern ones!) can still park at this spot nowadays, but above rails forming the through connection to the North Norfolk Railway. Murray Liston.

E50595 leads a BRCW set having arrived at the old Felixstowe station on 10th September 1978. This had been an Eastern Region set from new until 1982 when it was reallocated to Longsight, but lasted less than 2 years there before withdrawal. Murray Liston.
