The front saloon of a Cravens DMBS, this is assumed to be E50359. Note the hinged door into the cab is slightly off-centre, later builds would have a sliding door. Note also the small air-axle panel containing displays for just four power cars, this would later be altered to six. Cravens.

Structural testing underway on the bodyshell of a Cravens DMBS. The 25 tons of weights represent a 200% vertical overload (double a normal passenger load). The van layout shows that this would be a batch two or batch three Class 105 vehicle. Cravens.

The first of four images recording damage under Cravens DMSL M50797 circa February 1958 where it seems the cardan shaft has ripped off the output end of the gearbox. Note the puncture damage to the vacuum cylinder on the left. Only this print had any text on the rear, nothing about the incident just details about the vehicle including 'In service Oct 57 - Feb 58' and 'Working Derby, Notts, & Leicester'. British Railways.

A Cravens DMU in Blaenau Ffestiniog station with a Llandudno service in the spring of 1958. The five LMR power-trailer sets from the first batch (with the blanked off top marker lamp) were allocation to Llandudno Junction for around six months at this time, the arrival of Derby Lightweights from Monument Lane allowed them to move to Toton. British Railways.
