A five-car DMU formation in Llandudno Junction station in July 1989. On the rear, closest, is a Class 108 DMBS (51420) / Class 101 DMSL hybrid, the far set is also a hybrid with a Class 104 centre car (59148) between two Class 108 power cars (52056 + 53930). George Woods.

No date with this image, but the missing/smashed windows, open electrical boxes underneath, and the condition of the two locos either side, probably means it's after withdrawal in April 1989. It had spent almost all of it's 30 year working life as a North Eastern vehicle, only spending it's last 18 months at Bristol. Malcolm Clements.
