A Derby Lightweight (Blue Square) DMU at St Ives (Huntingdonshire) after arriving from Cambridge into the platform which used to be for the line to Huntingdon and Kettering circa 1968. Behind the building are the platforms formerly used for the March line. The station was largely intact at this time, but was rationalised a few months later. Cambridge depot only ever had one DMU allocated of this type, 56201 + 50610 arriving from the Scottish Region in January 1968 which explains the yellow first class stripe on the DTCL. They moved to Norwich depot in November 1968. Tom Burnham.
