Passing trains at Ridgmont station on 21 December 1988. Class 108 DTSL 54271 is in the platform, the incoming four-car is an interesting mix of a Class 108 DMSL (51572), a Class 104 TSL (possibly 59206), a 115 TS (possibly 59735), and a Class 101 DMBS. Set BX371 stands at Buxton Station on 30/12/1988. Individual vehicle numbers were not noted at the time, but the leading car of this 3-car set is believed to be 53925 from the damage above the roller blind. The other cars are believed to be 59155 (centre) and 52039 (driving) Robert Hope.

New Year Eve 1988 sees a NSE class 108 DMU arriving at Ridgmont from Bedford. The Bedford Arms pub in the background, complete with a collection of car hub caps (!), closed in the mid-1990s and was later demolished. The station is actually in Husborne Crawley.
