A Class 118 DMU arrives at Cardiff Central (at 12:53) with a service form the Valleys on 11 October 1987. DMBS 51308 leads, the other two vehicles are presumably 59475 + 51323. They were allocated to Tyseley at the time as set T351, two weeks later they would be transferred to Heaton. Robert Thomas.

A Class 118 dmu set passes Wilmcote on 8 June 1986. I was waiting for "Jubilee" 4-6-0 no 5593, and I think most of the others on the platform were waiting to see the same train. It is Tyseley set TS632, presumably 51323 + 59475 + 51308. Lewis Bevan.
Seen at Langley Green in 1986 is Tyseley's class 118 set T632 (presumably 51323 + 59475 + 51308) pictured pulling away from the stop in the station heading for Birmingham New Street with a train from Worcester. The signalman has wasted no time in returning his inner home to signal to danger. Peter Tandy.
Barnt Green station is the junction on the main Birmingham to Gloucester line where the branch to Alvechurch and Redditch, and formerly Evesham, diverges. On Saturday 16 August 1986 I was standing on the site of the old Goods Yard when a 6 car DMU came from the Birmingham direction with a New Street to Barry Island train formed of Tyseley's T632 (presumably 51308 + 59475 + 51323) and another suburban unit with a centre car from a different class; far from unusual at this time.
