Two Class 120 DMUs seen between Kennethmont and Insch on 19 May 1975. The centre car on the leading set has no buffet markings, the one in the rear set has a red band along the length of the whole vehicle. The rear set has two brake vehicles - a DMBF and a DMBC, and all three brakes on the train have tablet catchers. John Horne Collection.

BR (Swindon) Cross Country 2-car dmu (Class 120) No.C604 in BR Rail Blue & Grey with all yellow front end, at Milford Haven having arrived from Cardiff (General) and awaiting return to Swansea (High St), 07/75. The wooden station was built by the Milford Jct. Railway in 1863, which joined the South Wales Railway. This station was demolished some time ago. Hugh Llewelyn.

In the days when it was possible to get a forward view from a train, in this case a "Swindon Cross Country" unit between Derby and Nottingham. Coming towards us is one of the many coal trains that ran in the area hauled by pairs of Class 20 locomotives. The date is the summer of 1975. Bob Belcher.
