On the left is a Class 101 DMU in BR Refurbished DMU white + blue livery, bound for Pwllheli; on the right is a Class 120 DMU in BR blue + grey livery bound for Swansea... it carries an extra headlight for use on the Central Wales line. Taken at Shrewsbury on 23/7/79. Graeme Phillips Collection.

Ex-works W50725 is working with two Derby suburban vehicles on the 6.25pm Birmingham Moor St - Leamington Spa (G) seen at Solihull on the 13th July 1962. It is now loco green (and noticeably darker than the multiple unit green Derby vehicles) and has been given a right facing crest. Michael Mensing.
