122 DMU

2nd April 1977

Next stop Stourbridge High Street. This rather unfortunate event took place on 2nd April 1977. The driver of single car Class 122 M55012 unit overshot the buffers at Stourbridge town and went through the wall. The rather nice BMC Fire brigade incident unit is registered OEA 999F also in attendance is a new fire engine and the local panda car. I wonder how much would be left of a Parry people mover if one of those overshot! Geoff Dowling.
