A pair Class 122 Single Units, 55006 & 55005 were running in tandem, arriving at Starcross whilst forming the 17.07 Plymouth to Honiton all-stations service on June 1st 1990. This was the period following the migration of the Class 142 Skipper fleet to the North, with various still operational first generation DMU sets being drafted in to the West Country, prior to the arrival of Class 150/2 Sprinter units. A DMU with whiskers is waiting to leave Bromyard on the 17.15 service to Worcester Shrub Hill on the 7th of August 1964. The branch closed on 6th September 1964. The set number in the cab window could possibly read 105, which would mean this is 55007. The KDH Archive.

GRC&W 'double-ender' M55007 at Winchcombe in July 1965. It still retains its whiskers, many of the type had a yellow panel by this date. Michael Mensing.

Bubble at SC55007 Eastfield on 15 April 1972. The vehicle number uses three inch high numerals rather than the more standard four inch, and there is a set number that seems to have an E prefix, possibly 'E13'. John Grey Turner.

A view across the traverser inside BREL Glasgow Works on the 3rd June 1978 finds Class 122 DMSL SC55007 undergoing refurbishment in between an unknown Class 107 and a Class 101 driving car. An Ayrshire based Class 126 DMSL driving vehicle is on the far right of the image. Bob Woolnough.

Hamilton, Glasgow based Class 122 DMBS SC55007 is inside BREL Glasgow Works on the 3rd June 1978 high up on accommodation bogies undergoing a major refurbishment with the plating around the original 2 panel route indicator clearly visible. Transferred to Departmental service in December 1983 as TDB977223 she was finally scrapped at BREL Glasgow Works during June 1991. Bob Woolnough.
