Hybrid 116/101/116 DMU set N358 (presumably 53920 + 59114 + 53867) in Carnforth station. Undated, this formation existed from May to September 1988. Stuart Mackay Collection.
An NSE-liveried Class 101 DMU, set L991 containing 53308 + 59125 + 53331, passes though Princes Street Gardens on 3 May 1993. Not in service is on the blind, so it is possibly an ECS from Haymarket depot, the set spent six months allocated there from February to August 1993. Stuart Mackay Collection.
