The first land cruise by diesel train is seen preparing to leave Killin on Tuesday 29 July 1958. Formed of four twin sets, it had started in Glasgow Buchanan Street carrying about 500 passengers with the outward journey via Callander and returning via Crianlarich. British Railways.
