In Redditch station on 9 May 1972 sits a three-car Class 101 DMU, M50304 closest, note the difference in the centre car roof colour. A more interesting set is departing in the distance - A Class 120 with a plain blue centre car, sadly too far away to tell of what type. Stuart Mackay Collection.

DMU set T415 (presumably 53921 + 59353 + 59589 + 51870) waits to leave Worcester Foregate Street at 11.40 on the 10th August 1989 with the 11.43 to Birmingham New Street and 150 275 waits with the 11.53 to Swindon. In 1989 Worcester Foregate Street made an effort to brighten up the station with at least 2 bedding plant containers!! Dave Gommersall.
55032 displays its Tyseley number T132 as it climbs the Lickey Incline near Vigo about 13.30 on the 13th June 1989. It was working the 13.02 Worcester Foregate Street to Barnt Green service. Dave Gommersall.
DMU B970 (presumably 54207 + 53622) takes the line to Bristol at Standish Junction at 15.10 on the 20th April 1989, working from Gloucester to Weston super Mare. Dave Gommersall.
Class 116 DMU set T342 (presumably 53055 + 59673 + 53056) leaves Worcester Tunnel Junction for Worcester Shrub Hill at 08.37 on the 18th April 1989 with a working from Birmingham to Worcester Foregate Street via Shrub Hill, say my notes. Of note is the original OWW roofless 'shed' on the depot, which would be no more by December 3rd 1989! Dave Gommersall.
Class 116 DMU set T332 (presumably 53073 + 59598 + 53865) arrives at Worcester Foregate Street at 09.32 on the 11th February 1989 working the 08.32 Birmingham to Great Malvern via Stourbridge. Dave Gommersall.
T324 (presumably 53053 + 59672 + 53101) leaves Abbotswood Junction at 15.07 on the 17th January 1989 working the 14.02 Birmingham to Cardiff Central via Worcester Shrub Hill. It is believed a new class 155 was booked for these workings but they were having serious problems after going into service. Dave Gommersall.

Derby Suburban 3-Car Unit DMU class 116, T319, comprising 51129, 59756 and 51149 passes the former site of Withington Station on the 11th February 1991 working the 13.31 Hereford to Oxford. Snow in Herefordshire and Worcestershire was not common and often melted as soon as the sun appeared, but not yet on that day!! Dave Gommersall.
