2.  Harrow - Belmont Scheme

Delivery of unit expected by March 1957.  Chairman stated that information had been received that the new unit is being produced with old type springing, and Mr.Stanley said that new type springing would increase the cost by £700 per vehicle, but he will contact British United Traction and report the full facts.

480.  SCHEMES UNDER CONSIDERATION BY COMMITEE BUT NOT YET SUBMITTED TO B.T.C.

1.  Derby, Nottingham, Leicester Part 1

Nineteen 3-car sets will be delivered by Messrs. Cravens June to November 1957.  Revised financial results of scheme considered and agreed.  Complete amended report to be submitted to General Manager without further delay and to include note of explanation regarding increased cost of fuel.

2.  Wrexham, Chester, Bidston & Seacombe

Scheme being re-examined following visit of commitee to area, and progressing satisfactorily.

3.  Liverpool Central - Gateacre and Warrington (C)

Report in hands of Regional Accountant for costing.

4.  Liverpool Lime Street - St.Helens - Wigan

Still under investigation, but question of dealing with parcels traffic causing some difficulty.

5.  Birmingham Part 2.

Report progressing satisfactorily.

6.  Manchester Part 2.

Scheme in progress of being re-diagrammed and progressing satisfactorily.
