886.  GRAB HANDLES ON ST.PANCRAS AND MARYLEBONE DIESEL SETS

A drawing of a proposed grab handle prepared by the C.M. & E.E. was circulated for examination.

Mr.Stanley reported the estimated cost of making and fitting the handles for the St.Pancras cars was £8,580, plus £150 for tools.

It was agreed the C.M.& E.E. should produce another design at a reduced cost.
