The Chief Accountant has supplied the L.T.M. with financial details, in the
same form, in respect of the Derby Mid. - Sheffield Mid. scheme and the information for
the Derby Friargate - Nottingham Vic. - Grantham scheme would be sent in the near
future.
2. Allocation of units being built at Derby and by
Contractors
Revised schedule of allocation attached as Appendix
'B'. As the building programme was complete, no further statement would be
issued.
914. SCHEMES AUTHORISED BUT NOT YET IN OPERATION
1. Marylebone Suburban Services
(a) Progress of bogie modification and
refurbishing of stock
Only one vehicle which was working on the Liverpool (Central)
- Manchester (Central) service remained to be dealt with and Mr.Aston stated this
would be sent to the Works for attention as soon as the Allerton set in the works
was returned.
(b) Introduction of New Services
It was noted that arrangements were proceeding satisfactorily for the
introduction of the new services in June.
915. SCHEMES IN OPERATION
(a) Watford - St.Albans and Harrow - Belmont
The D.T.M., London (W), was considering the withdrawal of these service and
the L.T.M., Crewe would obtain a report on progress.
(b) Traffic Receipts
The statement of receipts and tickets issued during the month of
September, 1961, for those schemes with less than 12 months operation, noted
and attached as Appendix 'A'.
