Class 104 DMU at Glasgow Central High Level

January 1984

Ayr Variety. BRCW Class 104 triple at Glasgow Central High Level Platfrom 11, having arrived on a working from Ayr. This is probably DMBS M53452 (104 450) + TBS E59225 + DMBS M53461 (104 452) seen previously at Ayr Kyle Street. Most of the vehicles drafted in after the Ayr Depot fire had seen better days elsewhere. The station roof needs some attention. The good old days!? Tuesday 24 January 1984. alicia hartman.

Class 104 DMU at Johnstone

Unknown date

104 450 enters Johnstone. The DMBS is a 104 (presumably 53452), but the centre car seems to be a 107, and the DMC is a 101! And there are at least another four vehicles behind. Undated. Andrew McConnell.

Class 104 DMU at Haymarket depot

August 1985

104450 (with presumably 53505 closest) at Haymarket depot with an open day shuttle for the 'ScotRail Festival' in August 1985. S Saunders.

Class 104 DMU at Edinburgh Waverley

1986

BRC&W DMS SC53505 on the rear of a hybrid set arriving into Edinburgh Waverley in 1986. S Saunders.

Class 104 DMU at Edinburgh Waverley

1986

BRC&W DMS SC53505 leads a hybrid set out of Edinburgh Waverley in 1986. S Saunders.

Class 104 DMU at Glasgow Central

circa 1986

A three-car DMU arrives into Glasgow Central circa 1986. The Class 104 DMBS leading is likely 53452, the other two vehicles are Class 107s. Mike Bunker.
