Class 104 BRC&W 3-car DMU set BX491 with car 53593 leading departing Manchester Piccadilly for Buxton, 27-8-83. On Tour With the Class 13 Army.

5th December 1984

On the evening of 5 December 1984 a Glossop unit (only a few days left in traffic) and Class 104 set BX491 (53431 and presumably 59137 + 53496) are seen in Manchester Piccadilly. Chris Thorp.

Two nice clean Buxton allocated class 104 sets with distinctive white cab roofs negotiate the pointwork as they enter Longsight Depot on 7 June 1985. BX491 is the leading set containing M53496 + M59137 + M53431. Chris Thorp.
