Class 116 DMU at

3rd December 1983

DMUs were unusual sights on the single-track Leamington Spa - Coventry line, normally exclusively the preserve of freight and inter-city trains. On December 3 1983, three-car TS523 trundles through Kenilworth Common with a special shuttle from Coventry to Leamington Spa due to bridge repairs at Oxford. Mel Holley.

29th September 1984

A Class 114 set arrives into Gloucester station on 29/9/84, carrying set number TS523 in the left cab window. Michael Mensing.

November 1985

Class 116 DMSB from Tyseley set 523 which almost certainly makes this 53075. From a dark scratched neg, Birmingham New Street, November 1985. On Tour With The Class 13 Army.
