This unit clearly shows it’s blanked top cab marker light position, and also has the LMR brake-pipe layout- this original ER allocated car was among four 2-car sets exchanged with the LMR during the early 1960s, the ER getting the four early Rolls-Royce power trailer sets. 54055 did not return to the ER until the late 1980s, later becoming part of 101662.
