Only a handful of Met-Camm vehicles received a full yellow end while still in green livery. One of those, SC56411, is seen in platform 4 of Stirling station on 31 August 1968. The vehicle has the revised style of lining and a white stripe for first class. Stuart Mackay Collection.

On 16 April 1983 Chester allocated Class 108 DMBS M53938 and its Class 101 partner - presumably 56411 - is seen at Swansea with a Class 101 on the rear with the 10:08 service to Shrewsbury. Robert Thomas.
