A hybrid set at Grantham in August 1971 - E50018 + E59542 + E50003. The Met-Camm centre car was a Lincoln vehicle from June 1970 to February 1972. Mel Smith.

A couple of slightly unusual Derby Heavyweight units at Grantham in August 1971. On the left E56019 carries an early version of the rail blue livery with just a yellow panel and the BR logo on the cab door. On the right the set of formed of two DMBSs with a Met-Camm centre car inbetween (E50018 + E59542 + E50003). Mel Smith.

Two car class 114 T226 (54010 + 53018) is leaving the Stratford-upon-Avon branch at Hatton in 1988 just before making its stop for any passengers and then crossing to the up main line for the rest of the journey to Warwick and Leamington Spa. As with everywhere on the network this location has suffered from largely unchecked vegetation growth and there isn't a clear shot here in 2022. Peter Tandy.
