A Class 108 DMU formed of 54231 + 53948 at Chester on 13 July 1983. They were allocated to Longsight at the time. Taken by John Vaughan. Stuart Mackay Collection.
A 2-Car Class 108 with M54231 leading calls at the rural West Lancashire outpost of Hoscar whilst working a Manchester Victoria to Southport service on October 4th 1986. The station has staggered platforms either side of Hoscar Moss Road and is surrounded by open countryside. Martyn Hilbert.
