Details

With the houses on Broughton Road as a backdrop, a Class 101/108 hybrid was leading a four-car Morecambe to Leeds service on the approach to Skipton on May 6th 1989. Metro-Cammell Class 101 Driving Motor Brake Second E53250 was leading, presumably paired with 53644, with the other two cars also being Derby Class 108's. Behind the units is the Tilcon siding where the wagons used on the Rylstone quarry workings were repaired/maintained. The siding included a wheel drop facility.
