Grounded 'white circle' Swindon built 'Intercity' ex Scottish Region DMU cars were awaiting the end at the King's scrapyard at Snailwell on a snowy November 29th 1980. The units were built in 1956 and worked between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh until 1971 when they were replaced by Class 27's on push-pull duties. Centre is SC79164, on the right SC79109 and on the left facing away is believed to be SC79105.
