101 321 (presumably 53146 closest) heads up Cowlairs incline away from Glasgow Queen Street on 8/7/89. It's been stripped of almost all of its roof ventilators. John Reddyhoff.
This 3-car Class 101 has just passed Cowlairs carriage depot and is heading down the incline to Glasgow Queen Street. Taken on an unknown date, the set carries GG Trans Clyde markings and has an all-blue centre car. Andrew McConnell.
Vehicle: 56304
One of the Class 100 vehicles that was saw an early demise was 56304, it was less than eight and half years old when withdrawn. It's seen here partly dismantled at Cowlairs Works, probably in 1966. The cab is on the right. AA McLean.

"Bubble car" 55013 in parcels service - note the whited-out windows - leads a class 101 triple past the Cowlairs junctions, and Eastfield depot on the right, on the 19.48 Edinburgh to Glasgow Queen St on 3.7.79. The single unit was technically a class 131 in this guise. Leonard Rogers.

A Class 107 DMU stabled at Cowlairs, circa 1967. The DMCL has a wrap round yellow end to include the cab doors. The DMBS has the BR logo on the cab door and no sign of yellow on the side and so probably has just a small yellow panel on the front. Stuart Mackay Collection.
