Vehicle: 53632
A three-car Class 108 hybrid (108 DMS 53632 + 101 TBS - probably 59113 + 108 DMS 53642) at Windermere forming the 15.05 to Oxenholme on 20-10-1988. The branch had just been shortened slightly to allow a supermarket to be built in the old trainshed (in the background). To replace the old station, a smart new ticket office was built. However the branch was (and still is) a long siding from Oxenholme. Gordon Thomson.

A three-car Class 108 hybrid (108 DMS 53642 + 101 TBS - probably 59113 + 108 DMS 53632) at Windermere forming the 15.05 to Oxenholme on 20-10-1988. 29/5/72 - a wet bank holiday Monday at Windermere. The class 120 dmu strengthens a class 105 from Preston. The coaching stock was worked in by class 47 D1955 on an adex from Coventry. The station had 4 platforms which have now been reduced to one, although the roof remains as part of a supermarket development! Stephen Burdett.
