Sitting in the platform at Whitland on 25 February 1984 is Class 101 DMU set C814 (53319 and presumably 59123 + 53335) with the 10:07 service to Pembroke Dock. In the distance 33 021 departs with the 07:37 Cardiff Central-Milford Haven. Robert Thomas.

A 6 car set made up of Class 101 Met-Cam, set C814 (presumably 53319 + 59123 + 53335), and an unidentified Class 117 DMU, heading south from Hereford at Coedmoor, near Tram Inn, for Cardiff in August 1985. As this is a 6-car train, it seems likely that there was rugby in Cardiff on this date. John Crooks.
