This was a (now cropped) image of the Class 40 but it is a good view of the exhaust on the rear of the partner to M56353, possibly M51199. Taken in the carriage shed at Llandudno Junction on 6 March 1982. Commander Bond.
54353 was a spare class 101 trailer at Norwich when transferred from Chester. Looks like it was never used at Norwich as no set number in the window. Seen at Snailwell on 6 August 1988. Nicholas Youngman.

A two-car Met-Camm DMU with M54356 closest, date/location unknown, circa mid-1980s. The vehicle was based at Chester until late 1985 when it moved to Cardiff and shortly after placed in store.
