A passenger approaches the Met-Camm DMU forming an Alston service in Haltwhistle station on 3 May 1975. Closest is E56375, which still has first class seats in the front saloon but no longer any sign of first class markings. Its partner at the time should be 50156. Stuart Mackay Collection.

A 2-car Class 101 unit (consisting of cars 56375/51208) crosses the High Level Bridge at Newcastle on a Sunderland-Newcastle working - 28 August 1982. Lewis Bevan.

Stabled at Newcastle on 15 March 1986 are 55667 of unit 143001 and 55652 of unit 143011, Class 101 No E54375 has just arrived to join them. Keith Long.

Many stored Met-Camm vehicles and a couple of suburban cars at Crewe Carriage Sidings on 26 March 1988. The only identifiable vehicle is E54375 on the right, it's allocation on this date being as Newton Heath stored unserviceable, it would be reinstated a few weeks later but back in store by the end of the year. Metro-Cam Class 101 runs round at Huntingdon before returning to Hitchin on 1/6/79. Driving Trailer Composite E56377 leads Driving Motor Brake Second E51444. It's obviously from a different era as can be seen from the happy youth allowed a cab ride during the run round manoeuvre. Mike Dean.
