Back in days of blue-grey livery all Crown Point-allocated Met Camm sets displayed a white set number on the front windows. One of the last such sets to run in this colour scheme, consisting of 51252 and 54368, shows the white 76 on the cab front as well as an RETB aerial and headlamp while departing Norwich for Sheringham on 16 February 1993. Two withdrawn Met Camm vehicles are seen in the triangle at Crown Point, Norwich, along with condemned Mk 2 coaching stock, on 9 September 1993. The vehicle in the foreground is E54368, from Crown Point's set 76. It had been paired with DMBS 51252 (possibly the vehicle on the right), and fitted with RETB equipment for use on the East Suffolk Line, and a high-intensity headlight. It was built as Driving Trailer Composite (DTC) 56368, delivered to the North Eastern Region in September 1958. Chris Boon.
Class 101 54368, set number 76, is seen at Tyseley on 26.12.1993. This had been withdrawn from Norwich in May, and still retained the Headlight and RETB aerial. A NSE-liveried set is behind, and on the left is NSE liveried T596. Andy Cole.
A refurbished Class 101 DMU at Bradford Forster Square on 13 September 1976, the closest car appears to be 56369. Michael Mensing.
The 16:25 Hull - Bridlington service leaves Cottingham on 26th April 1983. E56369 is the leading vehicle of a pair of two-car Class 101s, presumably with 51230. The vehicles on the right are parked on the site of the former goods yard. Fortunately the actual goods shed survives and is still in use with a local timber company. Syd Young.
