The number on this DTC appears to read SC56409, and is seen passing Polmadie on the 29th September 1959. The vehicle, which had been delivered new to Dundee, had been transferred to Hamilton the previous month with DMBS 51229. Stuart Mackay Collection.

A Met-Camm twin DMU at Kinross Junction on 13 April 1963. It is coming off the line from Alloa, and Perth is on the destination blind, and the timetable shows there was a 3.20pm Alloa - Perth diesel service. The DMBS was recorded as SC51252, it is presumably paired with original partner SC56410. Stuart Mackay Collection.
Only a handful of Met-Camm vehicles received a full yellow end while still in green livery. One of those, SC56411, is seen in platform 4 of Stirling station on 31 August 1968. The vehicle has the revised style of lining and a white stripe for first class. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Met-Camm TBSL NE59051 at the Dinsdale premises of scrap dealer Arnott Young. It arrived there in July 1969 after withdrawal from South Gosforth under the wear and tear / surplus category in June 1968 after just under twelve years in traffic. It was last noted intact at the end of October 1969 and believed cut before the end of the year. Stuart Mackay Collection.
