A four-car Met-Camm set in Saltburn station, circa late 1960s. TCL E59540 (note the 'N' has been painted over) and the far DMS (presumably 51513, see image 17347) still have the original lining, the other centre car which appears to be a darker shade or green is in the revised style, the DMBS at the edge of the frame on the right is in blue. Met-Cam Class 101 Trailer Composite (TC), SC59560, in Strathclyde Transport livery, sits on stands at Vic Berry's scrapyard, Leicester on 22nd April 1988. The stands allowed the underframe equipment to be cut off easier for vehicles bodies that were going to be stacked. Behind can be seen another former Scottish Class 101 centre car, Sc59568. This is thought to be the remains of 59560, seen at Vic Berrys on the 10th June 1988. The alloy roof panels have been removed, showing the part of the roof that was steel panels. Malcolm Clements.

2 stripped out Class 101 TCL vehicles are stacked in Vic Berry's yard in Leicester along with a withdrawn Mark 1 Sleeping Car on the 5th June 1988. In the foreground is Class 101 TCL SC59568 in blue / grey livery formerly of Eastfield TMD Glasgow, and latterly the centre vehicle in set 101338, while sitting on top of it is TCL SC59560 in Strathclyde orange / black livery formerly of Ayr MPD and latterly the centre vehicle in set 107440. The last three digits of the sets are visible on the bottom right of the vehicle ends. Bob Woolnough.
