A hybrid diesel multiple unit in the Up bay at Selby's 1840 Leeds & Selby Railway (later North Eastern Railway) station. The original 1834 station is on the River Ouse behind the dmu. The set is mainly BRC&W vehicles (later known as a Class 104) with the third vehicle being a Met-Camm. The rear vehicle is still in green. Pete LG99.

A three-car hybrid set at Derby Midland circa 1969. Closest is BRC&W DMC M50501, possibly the only vehicle of the type to have a full yellow end while still in green livery, also unusual in having a first class stripe. Class 104 NH Set 446, with 50473 trailing, heads away from the station stop at Leyland on the Up Fast Line and will be taking the Manchester line at Euxton Junction, viewed from another school train on the Up Slow calling at the intermediate stations to Wigan North Western prior to their closure later that year.
