On a rather dull autumn Saturday (27 November 1970), a 3-car dmu (Class 104 DMSL E50564 leading with a Class 104 TBLS and a Class 111 DMCL) leaves the turnback siding just north of Tottenham Hale station to form the 12.26 to North Woolwich via Stratford (Low Level). There still seems to be some activity in the goods yard on the left, where a coal wagon has been emptied. Tom Burnham.

This negative was dated as 1971, but may be earlier. It shows a DMU formation arriving at Sheffield Midland 1971 with several crew members in the cab. It's a four-car and two-car, a 104/104/101/101 and a 105/101. The 105 has an ER style yellow panel - the reason it may be dated earlier. Stuart Mackay Collection.
