At Manchester Victoria on 6 December 1984 25 284 draggs a failed class 104 DMU formed of 53503 + 53448 into the station. Another class 104 unit and 2 class 120s can be seen in the suburban part of the station and another class 25 acting as station pilot is just about visible on the through lines in the darkness of the station.
