This is a bit of a gloomy old slide, but nevertheless records, according to the information on the card mount, the 08.25 from Hertford North, the last GNR line train to Moorgate, seen at Kings Cross (York Road) on Saturday 6 November 1976. Kevin Lane Collection.

The flourescent lighting in Moorgate (London Transport) station provides green tinged light as this 2-car Class 105 DMU sits having terminated with the last Great Northern arrival via King's Cross and the Widened Lines, the 0825 from Hertford North, 06/11/1976. Graeme Phillips Collection.

Boarded up Cravens vehicles on Newton Heath depot circa early 1980s. They are also stripped of many underframe components. The depot sheeted up asbestos vehicles from the outside (these appear to be metal sheets), most other places used timber on the inside. Mike Bunker.
