The RCTS "Fensman No 4" railtour at Oakington on 7 April 1979. Formed of Norwich set 55, a Class 105/104 hybrid (51265 + 56189), which was used for a Branch Line Society tour the same day. Roger Geach Collection.

The RCTS "Fensman No 4" railtour on 7 April 1979 was just an out-and-back trip from Cambridge to Fen Drayton, with photo stops en route. Much of this line is now open to passengers again, but on rubber tyres as the route forms the basis for the Cambridge Busway. Cravens class 105 power car E51265, new 1958 and BRCW class 104 driving trailer E56189 are seen at the former Histon station, closed to passengers in 1970. Jeremy Chapter.

47083 in the loco stabling point adjacent to March station on 24 July 1982. The Cravens Class 105 DMU (51265 closest) was recorded as the 17.12 from Peterborough - presumably the unit was in the process of running onto the westbound track for its return journey. Lewis Bevan.

A Class 105 and 114 at Bardney Junction on the direct Lincoln - Firsby line via Woodhall Junction,July 9 1969. The Derby Heavyweight DTC is in rail blue with small yellow panel, and has Sheffield on the blind, despite working the 15:22 Firsby - Lincoln service. The Craven's has a green DMC and the DMBS E51267 is in rail blue, with Tumby Woodside on the blind, it is working the 16:00 Lincoln - Tumbly Woodside. Steve Davies Collection.

Two twin car Norwich allocated Cravens class 105 dmu's both still with their 1st Class accommodation, pull out of West Runton after calling with a Norwich - Sheringham service on 4th August 1984. Closest is probably 51268. Andrew J Crowther.

On a journey from Leamington Spa to Ely on 19 October 1985 we stopped at Cambridge where I photographed all-blue class 105 DMU, 51268 + 54422, receding from the camera probably making a shunt move between platforms at the station. Peter Tandy.

A colourful scene at Glasgow Central on a late afternoon of 29th August 1986 sees Units of classes 101 105 and 120 combined in one set and all with different liveries! Set 454 ran around for a while like this. It is coupled to a blue and grey 101 and alongside another Strathclyde liveried 101 101321. Steve Robinson.

Class 105 DMBS 51269 at the head of a Glasgow Central - Largs service at Paisley Gilmour Street on 14/7/86. It had been transferred from Norwich a few weeks before, the NC set number 51 has been partially peeled from the left cab window. The vehicle is in plain blue livery, the vehicles behind (59069 and 51250) are in blue/grey as evidenced by the open doors. Dennis Taylor.
