Two twin car Norwich allocated Cravens class 105 dmu's both still with their 1st Class accommodation, pull out of West Runton after calling with a Norwich - Sheringham service on 4th August 1984. Closest is probably 51268. Andrew J Crowther.

On a journey from Leamington Spa to Ely on 19 October 1985 we stopped at Cambridge where I photographed all-blue class 105 DMU, 51268 + 54422, receding from the camera probably making a shunt move between platforms at the station. Peter Tandy.

A colourful scene at Glasgow Central on a late afternoon of 29th August 1986 sees Units of classes 101 105 and 120 combined in one set and all with different liveries! Class 105 DMBS 51269 at the head of a Glasgow Central - Largs service at Paisley Gilmour Street on 14/7/86. It had been transferred from Norwich a few weeks before, the NC set number 51 has been partially peeled from the left cab window. The vehicle is in plain blue livery, the vehicles behind (59069 and 51250) are in blue/grey as evidenced by the open doors. Dennis Taylor.

Bardney station in Lincolnshire was only open for occasional sugar beet traffic by 1980. On 6 September of that year, the Fakenham & Dereham Railway Society ran a railtour which visited the branch. Another railtour in February 1981 was the last passenger train to reach this point where passenger trains had been withdrawn in 1970. Car 51271 is nearest the camera, paired with 56125, behind is 51256 and 56116. Jeremy Chapter.

Ipswich and Cravens Class 105 E51271 + E56125 forming Norwich set no. 49. The train is the 06.58 Leicester to Harwich Parkeston Quay which I'd travelled on from March on 9/9/81. Later in the day this unit was seen forming the 14.50 Ipswich to Stamford service. Some late 70s fashion still in evidence here, even if it is 1981. Gerard Fletcher.
