Derby built Class 108 3-car DMU with DMCL E53630 closest (although it was all 2nd class by this date...), Sheffield Midland, Autumn 1985. On Tour With the Class 13 Army.
53630 and 53320 are seen at Healey Mills on the 11th October 1987. Malcolm Clements.

Brief break at Barton-on-Humber. On 11th March 1978 the Branch Line Society ran the “South Humberside” railtour taking a DMU around some freight lines in the Doncaster area, then on to New Holland Pier then Louth. Here 50632 + 59387 + 59246 + 50643 / 56394 + 50155 are seen at the end of the line at Barton-on-Humber, 11th March 1978, with the sidings not having seen any use for many years. Murray Liston.

On 11th March 1978 the Branch Line Society ran the “South Humberside” railtour taking a DMU around some freight lines in the Doncaster area, then on to New Holland Pier then Louth. Here the train (E50632 visible) is seen after arrival at the now closed New Holland Pier station, the coal wagons alongside were to fuel the BR steam ferries to Hull Corporation Pier. The station closed 3 years later when the Humber Bridge was opened. Murray Liston.

A three-car Class 108 hybrid (108 DMS 53632 + 101 TBS - probably 59113 + 108 DMS 53642) at Windermere forming the 15.05 to Oxenholme on 20-10-1988. The branch had just been shortened slightly to allow a supermarket to be built in the old trainshed (in the background). To replace the old station, a smart new ticket office was built. However the branch was (and still is) a long siding from Oxenholme. Gordon Thomson.

A Darlington - Shildon "Cavalcade 150" Special at Heighington on 31 August 1975. Leading is a Class 108 four-car formed 50633 + 59245 + 59388 + 50644, followed by a four-car Class 101 with 50141 + 59577 visible, and a three-car Class 101 on the rear. Hugh Llewelyn.
