Class 108 2-car DMU set T208, presumably 53983 + 54266 (DMBS + DTCL),after shunting over to the Down side at Stratford upon Avon on 15-3-89. On Tour With The Class 13 Army.
Having arrived at Preston at the rear of a four-car service from Barrow-in-Furness, Class 108 set CH278 formed of cars M53983 & M54266 were stood at the North end of platform 5 on the late afternoon of January 6th 1990. The set was withdrawn from Longsight Depot in July 1991 and subsequently scrapped by Mayer Newman at Snailwell. Martyn Hilbert.

Class 108 d.m.u. CH280 (53986 + 54221) 09-07-1989 awaiting its next duty at Bridlington. The set had been transferred from Chester to Neville Hill a few weeks earlier. Gordon Thomson.

Stabled on oil soaked trackwork, a Derby Class 108 two-car DMU formed of cars M53987 & M54270 were stabled with other DMUs in the Up Sidings at Wigan Wallgate on November 2nd 1986.
