Passing March East Junc signal box on 16th August 1986 is a Lincoln based Derby Heavyweight class 114 dmu, made up of cars E53047 & E54018 whilst on the left, probably stabled for the weekend is class 45/0 locomotive 45051 (D74). Andrew J Crowther.
On railtour duty are 2+2 Derby built class 114 dmu's comprising of cars E53047 + E54018 / E54044 + E53013, pause for a photo stop at Rotherham Masborough's platform 4. I have no real recollection of this tour, where it started or finished, who ran it, I've no paperwork for it, Six Bells Junction has drawn a blank, all I know it also visited Wakefield and went through Tinsley Yard, I've a few naff photo's to tell me that, so has anybody out there got any idea's? Rotherham Masborough closed on the 3rd October 1988, replaced by Rotherham Central, although the line is still in use. Andrew J Crowther.

E50048 (and presumably E56048) at Doncaster, date unknown. They had been involved in a collision with derailed oil tankers at Hibaldstow on 10/3/71 and moved to Doncaster soon after. Stuart Mackay Collection.
