The two rectangular boxes in the centre under the stepboard contain 'EP' valves, the larger box to the right just before the radiator (with the grille) contains the relays that control the EP valves. I believe this was the first Class 115 set to be refurbished and outshopped in white livery with the blue stripe; at the Railway Technical Centre, Derby, on 14 February 1978. David Faircloth.
