Weather conditions on Saturday 10 February 1991 were such that EMUs on the Euston-Northampton-Birmingham route were experiencing operating problems with snow causing problems wit the sliding doors. As a result at least one Class 115 dmu was borrowed from Bletchley depot to operate a Rugby-Northampton-Milton Keynes shuttle so that Wolverton/Northampton/Long Buckby passengers could change onto main line trains at Rugby or MK. This is one set, with driving car 51857, passing Kingsthorpe on a Rugby-Milton Keynes shuttle train. The two snow-covered tracks in the foreground are the branch from Northampton to Market Harborough which closed in 1981, but had still not been lifted 10 years later. Lewis Bevan.

A class 115 set about to set off for Marylebone from Banbury in March 1991. Ian Buck.
An overview of the scene just to the north of Aylesbury on 3 March 1991 at a time when the through line was freight-only and used mostly by trains going to and from Calvert. There are a few Class 115 vehicles stabled and maybe a Class 108 DMSL with doors removed. In 2022 passenger services travel through this site, albeit drastically changed, on their way to Aylesbury Parkway station. Peter Tandy.
This 4 coach NSE Class 115 DMMU is coming from Amersham to Marylebone and is approaching Neasden South Junction on 8 March 1991. The long lineside building to the left of the down line is the sidings then used by Christian Salvesen for various type of rail-borne food traffic. I don't think this was especially regular traffic at this time and the line entering the site had a good coating of rust to confirm this. Peter Tandy.
51875 leads a half Class 115 set attached to another Class 115 entering London Marylebone on May 22, 1991. Blue grey vehicles can be seen in the depot to the left. John Carter.
NSE liveried Class 115 sets in Marylebone on the 10th June 1991. Mike Cooper.
A Class 115 set heads out of Marylebone on the 10th June 1991, while another set on the left awaits its departure time. Mike Cooper.
Two Class 115 power cars sit in the siding at Aylesbury while a new 165 sits in the station. October 1991. Andrew Malloy.
Class 115s on Marylebone depot, 23 May 1992. The two DMBSs to the left are likely withdrawn as the van doors have been removed and some timber added across the doorway. Neil Smith.
On 2 May 1993 Pathfinder ran a mini-railtour in connection with an open day at Worcester using 20138+20066. The 2 locos were, unusually, hauling two 4-car DMUs, T404 (51853+59735+59604+53919) + T412 (51860+59591+59446+53116) which ran from Birmingham New Street to Worcester via the Lickey incline, and then on to Hereford and back via Great Malvern. The first of four shots was taken as train slowed for the junction at Stoke Prior before it turned onto the single line to Droitwich and Worcester. Peter Tandy.

The second of four shots was taken after a quick drive down to Ashchurch with a couple of minutes to spare. It is interesting to note that the trees on the up side of the line were still quite small in 1993. They subsequently grew very tall and were felled in 2004. Peter Tandy.
A two-car suburban set, with a Class 115 DMBS, near Stenson Junction on 4 September 1993 on what I took to be a Nottingham to Birmingham New Street service. The picture was taken from a footpath near the freight-only Sheet Stores line while I was looking for a different viewpoint from the usual spot on the farm bridge near the junction. Peter Tandy.
