Class 116 DMU set T342 (presumably 53055 + 59673 + 53056) leaves Worcester Tunnel Junction for Worcester Shrub Hill at 08.37 on the 18th April 1989 with a working from Birmingham to Worcester Foregate Street via Shrub Hill, say my notes. Of note is the original OWW roofless 'shed' on the depot, which would be no more by December 3rd 1989! Dave Gommersall.

Tyseley's set T342 53056 - 59673 - 53055 at Barnt Green heading for Redditch on 3/Mar/1990 (formed 116DMBS - 115TCL - 116DMBS - unusually with a DMBS at both ends). Note that the driver has already altered the destination blind to 'Lichfield City' for the return journey - having just come off the main line, at Barnt Green heading south there is nowhere else to go other than Redditch! The Bank Holiday Monday on 2 May 1994 saw some Birmingham to Stratford-upon-Avon trains formed of DMMUs rather than the usual class 150 sprinters. Here is a mixed formation of two power triples led by T351 (presumably 53921 at the front) and a Network South East liveried set (the rear vehicle labelled as L713, presumably 51391) approaching at Bishopton. On 2 May 1994 T351 (presumably 53921 at the front) leads L713 about to pass under Edstone Aqueduct, the longest cast-iron structure of its type in England. This location is just to the north of Bearley. Peter Tandy.

In the centre road at Worcester Shrub Hill is DMU set T351 with vehicles 53921 + 51880 + 53132. They are behind 47484 which would haul the set with steam loco 5029 on the other end on a return move to Henwick as part of the Worcester Open Day on 22 May 1994. Dave Gommersall.

A four-car suburban DMU at Sheffield in September 1988. Closest is a Class 1l6 DMS with the set number missing the last digit - it could be a stand in for the regular vehicle. At the far end is Class 115 DMBS 51662, the two centre cars are presumably Class 127 TSL 59610 and Class 115 TS 59743. George Woods.

A four-car Tyseley DMU, set 401, passing the signalbox at Bearley Junction on 11 March 1989. This unit is a right hotch-potch with a class 116 DMS 53886, class 115 TS 59743, class 127 TSL 59610 and Class 115 DMBS 51662. This mixture of types was far from unusual at Tyseley around this time with the depot using whatever they had available to keep trains running at a time of dreadful reliability. Peter Tandy.
