A Class 117 DMU at Llanwern (Newport). It looks like it could be set B438 and so presumably 51339 + 59492 + 51382. Noted as taken in 1984, the slide process date was April 1986 - so circa mid-1980s. Stuart Mackay Collection.

Haymarket depot DMU sidings in 1994. There are three Pressed Steel sets (including 117213 - presumably 51339 + 59492 + 51382 - and 117301 - presumably 51353 + 59505 + 51395) all idling. There are at least two Regional Railways liveried Met-Camm centre cars to their right - probably left behind from the three-car sets that moved to Corkerhill as two-cars. To their right are Strathclyde liveried 107s. S Saunders.

Within five months these units, Haymarket's last first generation DMU's, would be withdrawn.
