A three-car Class 123 Swindon DMU arrives at Doncaster station in March 1979 with a two-car plain blue set on the rear, possibly a Class 114. George Woods.

Having arrived in platform 1 at Manchester Piccadilly with a service from Sheffield, former Western Region Class 123 Driving Car E52094 (Complete with its oil tail lamp) was bringing up the rear of a hybrid three-car set on March 18th 1979. At the opposite end was a Class 124 Trans-Pennine car. Martyn Hilbert.

A Class 123 Swindon Inter-City set arrives at Hull Paragon with a service from Manchester Piccadilly on 29th May 1978. E52099, complete with lamp and end doors brings up the rear. Also in this view are a Cravens Class 105 2-car set waiting to travel up the Scarborough line, a Metro-Cammell Class 101 unit and a Class 124 Trans-Pennine set.
