In October 1981, a class 124 DMC (thought to be E51958) leads a train through Ashburys en route for Manchester Piccadilly from Sheffield and, probably, points further east. Tony Walmsley.
Two Trans-Pennine DMUs in Doncaster station at 7.30pm one evening, with a queue of people waiting to board the set in platform 4. There were no details with this transparency. The condition of the DMC on the left - with the missing white dots and the offset lamp bracket on the right - matches E51958 circa 1982.
