The DTC has an unusual shape of whiskers, the DMBS has two exhaust pipes, not the joined box Derby vehicles normally had in this era. Both vehicles carry electrification flashes. Michael Mensing.

Until the mid-90s St Johns was the terminus of services from Bletchley. However sense prevailed and the service extended to Bedford Midland.
